EU Finance Day 2026: Financing Competitiveness

We are pleased to invite you to the EU FINANCE DAY 2026: Financing Competitiveness in Berlin  

As the European Commission advances key initiatives such as the Competitiveness Compass and the Clean Industrial Deal, improving access to finance, mobilising private investment, and supporting sustainable industrial growth are central to Europe’s competitiveness agenda.

Organised by the European Commission services and Representations, the EU FINANCE DAY will bring together representatives from national authorities, financial institutions, institutional investors, and industry to explore three key dimensions of this agenda:

• Advancing the European Competitiveness Fund and its role in supporting strategic technologies and industrial innovation
• Mobilising pension fund and private capital investment to strengthen long-term financing for European industry
• Scaling up sustainable finance solutions to support Europe’s industrial transformation 

The event will feature speakers from the European Commission, the European Investment Bank Group, national institutions, and market participants, offering practical insights into current policy developments and financing opportunities.

We invite financial institutions, national promotional banks, institutional investors, business support organisations, SMEs, industry representatives, and other relevant stakeholders to participate.

Participants will be able to interact with expert speakers on site. For participants who are not able to join in person, we will offer web streaming.
